Booking Terms

We kindly ask that you read and understand our booking terms before paying your booking fee. Upon paying your booking fee, it means that you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These Booking Terms detail the terms under which Simply Bella Beauty agree to provide my services to you the Client.

Payment of the deposit is confirmation that you fully agree and abide by all of these Booking Terms.

All service prices, fees and these booking terms relate only to the services we provide to you. 

We reserve the right to alter, change and update these Booking Terms at any time, and without notice for all future bookings not currently confirmed with a deposit.


A deposit is a payment to secure our services for your booking date. We require a $100 non-refundable booking fee which secures your date. Your date is not secure until the booking fee has been paid in full.

A deposit is required to secure your quote and booking date. In the event your booking date is in less than 7 days, you will need to provide proof of payment via a bank receipt incase the funds do not appear in our account in time.

Bridal – If you feel more comfortable having a trial before paying a deposit, we recommend you pay the deposit to hold your wedding date and book your trial no less than 3 months before your wedding date. 

Quoted prices remain valid for 1 week (7 days). Prices are subject to change without notice so if you wish to lock in your quoted price you will be required to pay the deposit.


Payment must be made within 7 days from the time you receive the invoice. Deposits are subtracted from the booking total. The total amount is payable a maximum of 30 days before your wedding/event date. Booking fees are non-refundable due to the high demand of enquiries. This booking fee covers correspondence time and administrative duties. If you need to reschedule, we are happy to reschedule but, this will depend on availability.


There is a $100 non-refundable booking fee to reserve your wedding date which will be sent as an invoice via email. Payment of deposit must be made within 7 days of receiving this invoice. 

The Person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who booked online or has signed this booking contract. In other word; the person named as the client on the booking form is wholly responsible to ensure all money owed are paid when due.

The remaining amount on your invoice must be paid no later 30 days prior to your event date. If you failed to pay any of the invoices within the terms, we have the right to cancel your booking.

Non-Bridal – Bookings must be paid in full 14 days before your booking date via Bank Transfer or PayPal Credit/Debit. If you failed to pay any of the invoices within the terms, we have the right to cancel your booking.


A late fee of $50.00 will be charged for every 30 minutes hour of delay when a client is late for a scheduled time. If scheduled hair or makeup services exceed allocated time because of client delays, additional fees will be applied. If you are more than 30 minutes late for your allocated booking time, we have the right to cancel your booking.


Any parking fees must be paid by the client, if applicable. Additional travel fees will be charged for locations outside of Brisbane and the amount will be determined at time of inquiry.

Service Locations and Requirements

Please have a clean washed and moisturised face prior to makeup application. Ensure location temperature is no warmer than 22 degrees so makeup will set correctly.

Hair must be completely dry, and washed the night before. Please do not apply any treatments, oils or products after washing the hair as these could make the hair really slippery. Please allow hair to air dry and don’t tie up as it may create dents.

The space required for our hair and makeup artists needs to be large enough for us to get around. We will need access to power points or extension leads. The lighting has to be bright and natural lighting is preferred. Table or bench space is also needed for our makeup and tools to be easily reached.

Cancellations/changes to booking

Cancellation of any booking must be communicated in writing, by email and will only be confirmed upon receipt of this. The complete booking fee will be retained by Simply Bella Beauty regardless of notice or reason given, due to administration and potential loss of other bookings.

Once a payment has been made, we do not under any circumstances refund exisiting booking amounts or part thereof for change of mind or cancellations. If the numbers of the bridal party are decreased before the wedding date, Simply Bella Beauty will charge the original price to cover the loss of other bridal parties turned away for the same date.

Prices per service are subject to change if there is a change in the number of services required.


A trial is recommended for all brides. Trials are available but not essential for the rest of the bridal party or any other event. Please do not book a trial without confirming that we have availability for your main event first.


Parking for each stylist is to be arranged for bookings within the CBD, or where parking is restricted, either at your hotel or pay the parking fee of the nearest parking facility.

The Multi-Level car park is not an option due to the distance required to carry the equipment needed for your booking. This is an OH&S issue for mobile artists. Requesting an artist to move their car during a booking to avoid fees is not permitted.

Additional Charges
  1. Assistant Fees dependant on the artist available for your booking.
  2. Early Start Fee $25 per 15min before 7am per artist
  3. Public Holiday Surcharge +15%
  4. Late/Overtime Fees $25 per 15min
  5. Touchup Service price on asking
  6. Accommodation may be required for locations greater than 150km away
Workplace Health & Safety

Simply Bella Beauty and/or our contracted stylist/s have a right to work in a healthy and safe environment and it is up to you, the client, to ensure that environment. Please make sure that the area we will work in is; clean and tidy; free from tripping hazards; has safe access to electricity and fresh running water; is smoke free; is temperature controlled or has access to fresh air; has adequate light; is smoke free; is free from intimidating, violent, or threatening behaviour.

In the event that any of the above conditions are not met; Simply Bella Beauty Artists or our contracted artist/s do not feel safe in the environment, we reserve the right to stop all work until the issue is rectified.

Bookings affected by COVID-19
If your scheduled booking coincides with any of the following restrictions put in place by the Queensland Government, a credit note will be issued to the value of money paid to be used on future booking(s). The credit note cannot be redeemed for cash and is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Only under the following government restrictions will a credit note be issued:
  • Attending your booking is not a permitted reason to leave home.
  • Your booking is scheduled at a location where we are not permitted to provide our services.
  • You have booked for hair styling and performing this service is banned.
  • You have booked for makeup application and performing this service is banned.
If we are permitted to provide our services then a credit note will not be issued.

All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary, and all products are sanitised between every makeup application. Any skin conditions or sensitivities of the client(s) should be reported to the Makeup Artist prior to application. If needed, a sample test of makeup may be performed on skin for reactions.

The Client shall not hold the Artist liable and agree to indemnify Simply Bella Beauty for any harm, claim, loss, costs, damage, injury or product reaction to any person or property arising, either directly or indirectly, from the Artist’s performance, or any other reason whatsoever.

If you have a serious skin/health conditions, the Artist will have to discontinue the service(s) due to hygiene complications.


Upon agreeing to the terms in this contract and paying the deposit you agree that Simply Bella Beauty will not be held personally accountable for any loss or damage incurred either directly or indirectly from booking any of my sub-contracted artist/s for your event. This includes but is not limited to; injury to persons including the client, their acquaintances, family or guests, other vendors or any other person whether that person is part of the booking or not; damage to property belonging to the client, their acquaintances, family or guests, other vendors or any other person whether that person is part of the booking or not or the location where the booking is taking place.


It is the clients responsibility to inform Simply Bella Beauty or our sub-contracted artist/s of any potential issues that could arise from previous allergies or reactions to known or unknown products or ingredients. If there is any concern or doubt about any product or ingredient the client must book in for a patch test no less than 24hrs before the booking.

Right to Refuse Service

Simply Bella Beauty’ hair and makeup artists have the right to leave premises without completing services if: they feel uncomfortable, threatened, or verbally abused. If the artist feels that  you ‘client’ has any open facial wounds or a skin condition that could be infected or unsanitary, they have the right to refuse service.


Simply Bella Beauty’ Artists reserve the right to take photographic or film records of any of our make-up or hair applications, and may use any such photographs for promotional and/or commercial purposes only.
